How the music video quiz works

Built for living rooms, bars, and Discord watch parties — one host screen, phones for every team.

  1. 1Host on the big screen

Create a room and cast, share, or fullscreen the organizer view.

  2. 2Teams join on phones

Scan the QR code or type the room code. No app download.

  3. 3Watch, date it, score

Each video plays once. Teams lock in a four-digit year before the clock runs out.

Close counts

Exact hits win the round. Near misses still earn points — so arguing over “was that ’83 or ’84?” is the whole fun.

What’s in International Decades

Ten official music videos spanning the seventies through the late twenty-tens. Years stay hidden until each reveal — no spoilers here.

FAQ

Do players need an account?

No. The host creates a room, teams scan a QR code or enter a six-character code, and play starts. Nothing to install.

Where does the music play?

Only on the host’s big screen, through YouTube’s official embedded player. Team phones are for answering — they never load the video.

How is the year scored?

Exact year is 3 points. One year off scores 2. Within five years scores 1. Further away scores nothing. You can change your guess until time runs out.

How many teams can join?

Up to 20 teams. One phone per team is enough — the captain locks in the year for everyone at the table.

Is it free?

Yes. Last Call Games is free to host. Music packs use YouTube’s player, so normal YouTube availability and ads can still apply on the host screen.
